Our Story: Family-Owned and Built on Excellence
Tranquil Escapes began in 2003 as the vision of husband-and-wife team Dwight and Bonnie, who built a reputation for turning backyards into unique outdoor escapes. Now led by their son David and his wife Erin, our second-generation family business remains committed to the high standards that established our name. Meet The Team
David- Owner/Operator
David Hale has been creating beautiful "Tranquil Escapes" since the company's start in 2003. He has an expert eye for being able to visualize the potential of any backyard and helping customers bring their backyard dreams to a reality. David will be your main contact when it comes to the sales and design process. He will also be actively present and invested in jobs as they progress through the install process to make sure they meet our high standards of quality craftmanship.
Carlos- Foreman/Crew Lead
Carlos Vera has been creating Tranquil Escapes for over 10 years! Through his years as an installer, he has created a wide variety of backyard retreats. Carlos has a keen eye for detail and his great work ethic allows him and his team to go above and beyond customers expectations. When Carlos is on the job, you can rest assured that your project is in good hands!
Daniel- Installer/Operator
Daniel Crum is our newest member of the team, however his hard working spirit, his punctuality, and his attention to detail is second to none! Daniel loves all things 'nature' and has been Aquascape Certified to learn as much as possible about pond and waterfall building as well as all things fish and plant related. He also has a background in mechanics and is a great asset to help keep all of our trucks and equipment running smoothly.
Erin- Office/Admin
David's wife of over 18 years, Erin Hale, is an amazing asset to the company. While she may not always be seen on the jobsite, she is constantly behind the scenes helping with things like scheduling, bookkeeping, invoicing, payroll etc. She also offers that valuable "woman's touch" when it comes to backyard designs and can see and recommend things that 'the guys' may have otherwise overlooked. We thank her for all she does!
